Designing for the Future
Site civil and dry utility engineering for developers, architects, school districts, and public agencies. Local fluency in four Western markets, backed by projects in 42 states. The engineer who scopes your project is the one who signs the plans.
What we do
Two practices. Everything your project needs, from the first sketch to the last inspection.
Civil Engineering
Due diligence through as-built. Grading, stormwater, water, sewer, ADA, fire access, permitting — 17 services covering the full civil scope of a development project.
Explore Civil services →Dry Utility
Will-serve letters through field conflict resolution. Joint trench design, PG&E Greenbook coordination, transformer siting — 14 services managing every provider in the ground.

Scope it
You tell us about the project. We identify the civil scope, flag regulatory triggers, and give you a fixed-fee proposal — usually within a week.
Design it
Same engineer from start to finish. Grading, stormwater, utilities — coordinated with your architect and the reviewing agency in parallel.
Build it
We stay with the project through plan check, respond to RFIs, and handle field visits through the last inspection. We don't hand off and disappear.
Recent projects
Fremont High School Net-Zero Campus
Demolished and rebuilt 95% of a 12-acre OUSD campus. Nine new buildings, net-zero energy, 40-foot retaining walls, and full utility infrastructure for 1,200 students.
Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage
5-story design-build parking structure adjacent to BART. Full civil scope from site plans through hydrology report. Grand opening June 2024.
Fletcher Jones Elston Service Facility
Ground-up four-story Audi and Mercedes-Benz service facility on 8 acres. Civil engineering for one of our largest commercial builds.
Geography is not a limitation.
We go where our clients take us. Oakland to LA. San Diego to Portland. Maui to Hood River. Wherever your project is, we'll learn the permit requirements and get it through plan check.
We've delivered projects across California — Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Central Valley — plus Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and six other states. Same engineer from day one through construction. Not a junior. Not a rotating team. The person who scoped your project reviews the plans before they go to the city.
Reco and Calichi's presentation was directly on point. Professional and concise! It is nice to see that there's hope out there.
Four offices. Projects everywhere.
