In conjunction with McCarthy Construction on a Design-Build delivery, Calichi Design Group provided civil engineering and associated services for a state-of-the-art 5-story, 516-stall parking garage adjacent to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station.
The 34,000 sq ft footprint / 179,000 sq ft gross area structure includes a dedicated bikeway, parking area, and pedestrian walkways.
Calichi's scope included the site and paving plan, grading and drainage plan, Stormwater Control Plan, Utility Plan, and stakeholder coordination meetings. We also prepared the C.3 calculations and checklist, technical specifications, OPCC review, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, street layout and profile sheets, signage and striping plans, Hydrology and Hydraulics Report, Dry Utility Consulting, Stormwater Maintenance Plan and Agreement, and Notice of Intent through the SMARTS website.
The project opened to the public in summer 2024 and provides parking infrastructure critical to the region's transit access.
